Present Wrapping

Usually my friends tell me exactly what they want for their birthdays. After a few years it got a bit boring; no element of surprise or excitement, no childlike joy.

So a year ago, my friend had asked for Ray-Bans. I pretended we were not getting her Ray-Bans and we were in fact getting her a swan. Obviously this was a really lame joke but I thought I should at least follow through in a way, so I wrapped her Ray-Bans up to look like a swan.



This turned out to be quite amusing and brought a bit of fun to the predictable present opening.

So I continued....

So, the Ice Bucket challenge. I'm sure we all have our own feelings about it. exactly. In my opinion, this year has been a bit of a charity showcase what with the "no make up" and "cock in a sock" selfies. Social media is a great way of raising awareness, however you have to admit that along with the do-gooding, there is an egotistical, attention-seeking element to it - just like everything else that gets posted on a social media site This kind of self-promotion charity works so well and is fantastic for raising awareness, but a reported half of Brits who did the Ice Bucket Challenge did not donate to the ALS charity.... this is my surprised face And now with news coming out that out of $10million raised, only an apparent 14% goes towards the fundraising, everyone is acting shocked like this is BRAND NEW INFORMATION! Disney's top hottest males

If you are new to my blog, I feel I must clarify that this is my first post of this... variety. I usually talk about ads or marketing or amazing things I've done, but a recent conversation about how hot Simba from the Lion King was, sparked a lot of thinking on my part about attractive animated characters. So much so, that I felt compelled to share my conclusions with you. So, in no particular order and subject to change, here goes... 1. Simba - Lion King Quoting my friend from the aforementioned conversation, 'I think it's his hair; it's all messy and sexy.' So, could it be the tousled hair that makes Simba so irresistible? Is it his playful smile? Or perhaps his goal-orientated nature and eagerness to be king? Whatever it is, he is one hot cub. *NB. Simba's hotness is strictly confined to his childhood years.
